Moscow-based ABC Medicina healthcare provider network acquires 100% of Niarmedic private clinic network from OOO Doctor Ryadom Holding

The deal scopes 14 multi-discipline Niarmedic healthcare centres in Moscow and Obninsk. From now on all centres will operate under the ABC Medicina brand and join the digital platform of the network. The financial aspects of the deal were not disclosed.

“Niarmedic acquisition will considerably enhance the geographical availability and scope of services of our company and will increase our share of the private health insurance market. We are progressively advancing our network, balancing opening new branches, asset acquisition and franchising. This approach allows us to further our executive and clinical expertise as well as ensure sustainable growth over the long term.” – says CEO of ABC Medicina Artyom Melikhov.

ABC Medicina network has first started its proactive expansion in 2024. The company has opened three new healthcare centres in Moscow: in Novye Cheryomushki, on Mosfilmovskaya street and near Oktyabrskoe Pole; and acquired multi-discipline medical centres Rebyonok I Semya, Premier medic and MRT24 diagnostic centre. As of the competition of the Niarmedic deal, ABC Medicina now comprises 37 healthcare facilities and has become one of the fastest growing private healthcare providers in Moscow.

“The deal is consistent with our business strategy. We are observing a clear trend for consolidation in brick-and-mortar-based medical services, and, being a digital-first holding, decided to focus our attention on MedTech activities. Over the last few years, we have heavily invested in digital technologies for our clinics, introducing an integrated medical IT system, digital platform and a proprietary mobile app. This has allowed us to optimize management activities and facilitate scalability – and both these advantages will surely benefit the new proprietor. Meanwhile, our key areas of investment and expertise will shift to expanding the Doctor Ryadom digital healthcare ecosystem, including furthering our telemedicine activities and developing new AI-driven medical services. This is an appropriate step for our overall mission of making healthcare more affordable, technology-driven and personalized.” – says CEO of OOO Doctor Ryadom Holding Maxim Chernin.
